Although, if you're gonna spend that much on a laptop, I'd reccomend going desktop, they perform better and last longer (build your own if you're going to do that.)

try downloading java 64 if your laptop 64bit

As said above desktops are much better value and performance.

If you ever in doubt about specs, check the game vendors site for the recommended and try to exceed or meet their requirements to have the best experience.
