I'm lost when you say you have to connect shit to your ps3 for install?
You can use Linux via AsbestOS. So download AsbestOS and run LV2patcher prior and start.
Hope this helps you out.

ok heres exactly what i do, tell me what im doing wrong.. i install LV2 patcher v9 and Asbest OS. then i go to Asbest OS. then asbest says some things like Mapping lv2, or something like that, takes about 5 seconds, then it says ALL DONT RUN LV2 PATCHER. i go to lv2 patcher, click linux. my screen goes black and i caant do anything to it but turn it off, and it will only turn off by taking the plug out.

I'm pretty sure you have to run LV2 Patcher before starting AsbestOS. Try that, and tell me if it works. :y:
