Post: Possible 3.56 exploit idea

So with that said I was playing my PSP 3000 today and I thought what if we could make a half byte loader for the PS3 and what would happen is this first we would code the savegame to install pkgs to the Ps3. Then what we would do is exit the game with the exploit and check and see if the PKG had been installed then what we would do is start the game with the savedata exploit and have another option which would be play intalled PKG only thing is we would have to find a way to sign it with 3.56 so it would run. but anyways, this could work because it could mask the PKG like it masks PSP programs with papatron 2 demo. So if the savedata exploit was on Modern Warfare 2 then you could run the PKG and It would still say on the current game you have the exploit on while you are running MW2 this way the PS3 and your friends would think you were just playing a normal single player game on Mw2.[multipage=How it would work and what it could do]
So Here is how it would work

1.Ok so of course what we would need is the savegame to go to the directory in which the HBL is stored so it would be like.....
USB0000\HBL\
So there is How I think it could run and stuff so thank you for your time and I hope this Idea can become a reality I will be looking into it

Even if you got .pkg files like file managers, backup managers, etc on the PS3, The reasons this won't work are: Geohot's keypair was blacklisted in 3.56, so you can't sign it as official for use with that, and there are no other ways to sign it as official, and you need to.

True I did not think of that but hopefully there should be some way to find the keys for 3.56. and how in the world did GeoHot find the keys for 3.55

Good Idea. We just need to find a Exploit in Savegames for ps3. So we dont need ****ing keys.

You'll always need keys. Only reason we didn't with the USB dongle jail break is cause it patched it so it would run unsigned code.

Dont u have to Have The Priv Keys To sign homebrew Games to make them Play On 3.56??

Well there are a lot of posts that have released keys for 3.56 but the only problem is that there is no way to sign with them yet because like on 3.55 we had failoverfl0w give us tools for signing but now this is not the case because the major hackers are not releasing because of GeoHot.

Dude, first you tell me the signing is a pain in the butt but you got the keys, now its a pain in the butt cause you dont got they keys? Wtf?:\
