I would appreciate some advice please. I know this is a bit nooby :dunce: so apologies in advance but some of the threads have conflicting views and are misleading so I was hoping for some clarity from here,

What CFW should I install? Had geohot last time but keep reading Kmeaw bypass is easier and more secure?

When updated to 3.56 the MW patch stayed, trouble is it was very unstable so I was forced to reinstall the official MW patch so question is can I install game patches on my 3.56 console by connecting the 2 consoles?
If so what is the correct cable to use?

Any other advice I should be aware of would be much appreciated

cfw 3.55 kneaw is the best,use fukpsn to get online as well.

I use the PS3DNS + Charles trick to get online, and kmeaw is definitely the best CFW out at this time.

Not hacked patches as they are signed with other keys. 3.55 and 3.56 are diffrent. You probably buy it secondhand, or worse, thirdhand so be sure to fully check the system if it works properly
