(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); PS3MediaServer, is probably the most popular media server for the PS3, the only other real options are WMP11 or Tversity, well now we have a new media server for the PS3, it is created by Roberto Bender and is in early alpha stages, here is a quote from the author:

    NJ (Not Java) Media Server is, by the way, a media server. 

It’s built in C# and targets the Playstation 3 system.





    These are the NJ Media Server Key Features



NJ Media Server has been built for PS3 System (mainly), 

but it should work under other systems as well (not tested)

JPG, PNG, BMP 

EXIF Support (Such as picture taken date, orientation) 

Folder Album Organization 

Audio Files Support 

MP3 Files Support 

ID3 Tags and Lyrics Tags Support 

Last FM Album Art/Artist Picture Download

Does this require Java runtime environment 6?
My pc could never run ps3 media server because jre won't install correctly.

no you should be fine friend nj means no java
