Can someone tell me just to make sure everyone knows what I am talking about i.e. games like dragon age demon souls, star ocean. I know u can put them on cloud but who cares I need to edit them and I can't jailbreak both my ps3s are way past 3.5 or what not. is there anyway to do this. I also ask this because I am a moran in the tech world . I know someone is able to do it that why we have these game saves. Please give me a detailed answer somebody. this needs to be stickied if we get the answer as well.

Use an FTP server or a file manager like Multiman or Comengie's.

So your ps3 is on a firmware 3.55+ and your ps3 is not jailbroken, if that's what you are saying you need a USB and copy the save to the USB and edit it on your PC. I can't fully tell you the steps in doing this because I don't do this hacking anymore I realised It's a waste of time.

I don't know if you can do this without a jailbroken ps3. You may want to try and look for a program on Google that allows you to modify the PARAM.sfo of another game save to yours.

If your trying to copy a copy protected save first of all the only way you can get it off your ps3 is by data transferring. You cant copy them to a USB because it if its copy protected it simply wont allow you to. Data transferring is the only way, then youd need to FTP and navigate to hddo/game/bles or blus number and copy it to your PC. If you dont have access to a jailbroken console then youll have to look in the PS3 game saves section here on NGU to see if someones already done it. Then youd need someone to resign the save for you and theres plenty people offering this service for free. There is no other way to do this other then what ive stated.

i'm not sure of this, but if you have xploder, do the following:

1) take a random save from your ps3 account from a game thats not copy protected
2) use the save you found that you plan to get trophies with
3) use xploder to copy over that save

- i have done this with other saves, because it took too long to create a save for that particular game

Your theory is correct sir however the most common misconception with Xploder is people "think" you need 2 saves for ever game save so you can overwrite them. What people fail to realise is that its alot simpler then that, all you need is 1 save of yours to detect the account name. Then you drag as many saves as you want to the "Username" and Xploder does the rest. The only problem why this wouldnt work is if the game save your after is missing a file like the param.sfo for example which alot of people tend to take out. This was due to noob protecting the save early on for CFW users before Xploder took off.
