so i soldered a progskeet to one of my ps3 slims.

took some pictures, was quite involved........ but well worth the experience. i have got pretty confident with soldering now.

the best tip i can give somebody that attempts this? ............ patiance, take your time, and check each and every connection before powering up.

works 100% and i am very happy with the results.

Well, I have an old 60gig ps3 with 3.73 on it, the disc drive doesn't work, it had ylod, but I succesfully repaired it. Is it worth it, to jailbreak/downgrade?
Would I then be able to download ps3 games from the net and to put them onto the ps3? It wouldn't be a problem of piracy for me, as I live in Switzerland, here is download legal, but upload illegal. So if I used torrents, only then, I might get a problem. But I shouldn't
