But still the download speed goes really slow and on my computer it goes to the maximum speed.

Anybody know this?

Putting your PS3 into DMZ does not effect connection speed. All that means is your router doing the right job to start with.
Certain networks have bottlenecks down the line.
Your connection to speedtest.com has no bottlenecks your connection to PSN may do. Your line may support 10Mb but what your connecting too only allows 2Mb due to bottlenecks.
These bottlenecks are due to 3rd parties or your ISP.
If you understand how the net works your ISP connects to another party for your connection which may give you a bottleneck.

Only way to stop this is to remove the bottleneck some 3rd party companies which run a poxy which bypass the bottlenecks.

Putting the PS3 into the DMZ will not increase the download speed. I would check you LAN for the problem.

DMZ means to put the PS3 bevore the firewall directly to the internet with none security.

I will check my own LAN.

mine is off and on with the speed, some days fast some days slow

I suffer the same as you, hope sony fixes thing like this in their next console

One thing you might want to do is check the storage space on your system. If you don't have much room it will slow downloads down. Also, I'm assuming your Ps3 works off different internet than your computer?
