crick_head's adventure into the Sony Event

Well, last night I was I was lucky enough to get invited into a very exclusive event in Toronto. There was only 200 people, and I was one of them. I expected to play all the games coming out this holiday, which I did, but to my surprise, they had Killzone 2 there. It was totally amazing, one of the best games I've ever played. It moved perfectly, looked perfect, and wellthere's just so much more I could say.

I also got to play Resistance Retribution, which if some of you don't know, is a PSP resistance. To tell you the truth, there's is no better looking game for the PSP. IT LOOKED AMAZING.

As well I played Fallout 3 which aside from the face that you can pretty much run anywhere, didn't impress me too much (sry for u ugys interested in thsi game lol)

I played cod5, which was AMAZING... I got to play two levels, and it was ppprreety cool.. Just a heads up, new multiplayer info for cod5 will be out end of this week or sometime next week according to one of the devs i talked to. What I can say is that, there's gonna be some new perks, some old ones, some that are tweaked. Also there's gonna be ten customization slots. Its still mainly weapon customization, no face and body for cod.

Next I played Mirror's Edge. This game was truly amazing. All the actions are controlled with one of the four trigger buttons. Some of the things u can do are pretty lolz haha. I took out this one guy with a flying jump kick, and another guy i took his gun and shot this dude in the face. The game itself feels really free, as if you can do anything. And you sort of can, as long as you can jump to it lol.

Finally I played Resistance 2, it was the mission against Daedulus (he's the big guy in that robot suit who tries to kill you). I'm thinking this was the first mission too, because it had a tutorial in it... but anyways, the graphics on that game were amazing. It might not have been up with killzone 2 (which was beyond anything imaginable) but it sitll looked pretty good. Some of the controls have been changed up, but other than taht the only differences here ebtween r2 and r1 is how amazing resistance 2 looks and feels and plays.

And last but not least, I played Resistance Retribution. I'm telling you now, if you don't have a PSP yet, this is the reason to get it. This game has by far the best graphics on the PSP to this day. Most of the guns were the same from resistance 1. Its a different story line, and you don't play as Nathan Hale... But other than that, its a coolgame, that is a must buy for any psp owner.

Well that concludes my night, I got to pretty much all the games I wanted to play... except tom clancy's endwar and farcry 2 cause the damn ubisoft dev left so fuking early...

I'll be posting pics and videos in the coming days so stay tuned!!

That's really cool crick. I wish they have one of those events near me and I get invited lol. But good job, killzone sounds cooler now.
It would be funny if you started glitching right in front of the devs faces.
