Ubisoft has announced that they plan to run a closed Far Cry 3 multiplayer beta for PS3 and Xbox 360 for two weeks this summer, with the beta to include six classes, multiple maps and support for 16 players. This invitation only beta sounds like it may be woth try, codes will be available via a 500 token givaway as well as Ubi.com and farcrygame.com or alternatively by buying Ghost Recon Future Soldier from GameStop.

Far Cry 3 is set for release on consoles and PC on September 4 in North America.

Ain't the only way to get this by owning ghost recon ?

No you can get a beta code off of their FB, Fargrygame.com, Ubi.com or if you have bought a game with the Uplay feature like Splinter Cell Conviction or something one will get sent to your email that you used to sign up when the beta starts.
