I am starting my own FPS shooter online game. It will only be multiplayer. This game will include CTF, TDM, DM, and other ideas later. It will might feature a zombie mode.

I will need help with this. We will be using multiple programs to make the gfx look good and do some nice animation. Trust me its not advanced, just know C++, little scripting, and creating maps which is fun and easy.

GCUT Arena Progress - 65%

Update 1:
We just made a menu for lobby chats and everything.

Update for lobbys:The menu kept giving us errors so we will try the next day.

INCREDIBLE UPDATE:

Most of you havnt been playing GCUT Arena because of a error you keep getting in the lobby.

Well I now have some great news that are going to rock your world:

Achievements - Similar to the Xbox Live achievements system, this allows players to unlock achievements after completing specific tasks/objectives in the game.

Kill Based Ranking System - Your players can level up and gain a higher rank the more they play your games. Rank images are fully customisable per game.

DLC System - You can now purchase or download content or updates for the game.

Signature Pictures - Let your players boast about their scores and kills with signature pictures that can be used on forums and other websites.

Customizable Menu - There will now br cuztomizable menus for us so we can add more images and music support!

DEDICATED SERVERS!! - Players get ready to host your dedicated servers for the fun of it! This will also increase the speed of connections.

Online Leader boards - We will show an updated online leader board on the GCUT (GamerzCut) website to see how good you really are..

Stat Tracking - Track your players total kills, highest killstreak, total deaths, total suicides AND how many kills they got with each gun! Achievements can then be unlocked if the player achieves a specific target with their stats.

UPDATE 4/5/10:
Hey guys I know a lot of people have been asking me for the beta and more information. Ive got news about a beta release date, some new information, and a few unknown bugs.

The Beta:
I know I have sent you guys a acceptance mail to get in the beta and haven't sent you the download yet. I am sorry but I have been a bit busy lately and I really do want to get this game kicked off as soon as possible. I am pretty sure it will be released early this week but I am warning you some of you might not be able to join most games because a port-forward bug. If you don't mind then ok because all of you are asking for the download early. I cant fix the bug until the game is fully released.

New information:
Yes we have a better menu and lobby which looks much better than the old one we had. We are happy to make a new one as the other was crap. However the menu and lobby will lag if you have a old PC so not my problem xD. Enough about the boring stuff, lets talk about the real information..

Unlimited Levels - This might sound awkward and maybe awesome to the other people but we will have unlimited levels/rank ups. The rank ups will go by xp. The reason why we will have never ending levels is because people get bored after beating multiplayer parts of games and have nothing to do. With this game, we will have weekly and monthly upgrades of new weapons, levels logos, maps, etc. Some you will have to pay if the game gets pretty active

Weapon re spawning and RFOM Like:
The game will sorta be like RFOM where weapons will be randomly placed all over the map. You can chat in the game lobby, in game and you can also stay in the lobby and chat with your friends even if the host started the game so you can join late.

Tournaments:
Can't wait to launch this, we will open a toruny the first week and the winner will get unlocks, small amount of money, or a prize.

Death match only?
Unfortunately we will have to have DM only for the first part of the release. We will add TDM a little more soon after that so dont worry.

ZOMBIES CONFIRMED!!

Yes many of you have asked for this to be apart of the game and we have confirmed that it will take part in it. Really not going to say much but it is going to be a rounds of zombies coming at you.

When will it be released?

The zombies mode wont be released right with the game, you will have to wait after the game is released. Maybe weeks or a month later. I will update you guys with more information regarding screenshots, video, and a beta.
