Sony has just announced via twitter that PlayStation 3 will get an update which will enable the PlayStation 3 to play games, movies and other entertainment media in 3D. The update will hit the PlayStation 3 in October so it looks like we don’t have to wait for too long.

Well it is just that standard Tvs do not have the capability to do what this 3d does... It is not necessarily about the money but somewhat it is.... It is worth the money for a 3D tv because of the awesome picture you get!! Because remember Not just sony make 3-D tvs 4 companies do...
