Do I need a new Modem or a faster broadband?

I dont really know much about that modem, but I used to have same problems with my modem. The lag problems are when many devices are connected to the modem and are trying get information from internet. My dad recently bought a much faster broadbend which helped, now I never lag.

Maybe it wont lag for you if the modem would be closer to your PS3 / Computer too.

EDIT: Try connect your PS3 / PC at the point where you lag (when others are using internet stuff) with a wired connection and see if it still lags.

I'd suggest get a faster broadband.
I've had the same when i was playing on my PS3 and my dad was using his computer.
After that we got a faster broadband and now i (almost) never experience lag.

I have a D-Link modem and I tend to have lagging problems aswell. I have AT&T high speed internet, which I would like to recommend

I found that moving my PS3 closer to my modem gives me really good speed, even if other people in the house are using the internet.

As for your computer problem, I use this wireless adapter that helps me pick up internet connection from my brother's room since our modem is really weak. I was thinking of getting a better modem so that my wireless connection won't be so weak.
