30 day trial has been made available

Subscription-based film rental service LOVEFiLM has officially launched their second medium for their rental service on PlayStation 3.

Their decision to join the Sony platform will be a major win for film lovers as it allows a majority of their customers to browse and stream high-definition films instantly.

The unlimited feature is available to customers holding a £9.99/month contract. Those paying £5.99 will have limited access as to how much they can stream.

PS3 owners are able to test the system by making use of the 30 day trial that has been made available. During this trial, users can browse and select a movie from a catalogue of approximately 2,000 films.

If this is not enough to persuade you, the only thing PS3 owners require is a broadband speed as low as 2Mbps to stream the high-definition film.

The PS3 service will not affect your standard LOVEFiLM deal as you will still be able to receive DVD’s, Blu-rays and games via post.

I think its a good service but they should take it 1 step further.

And do online full game rentals via download.

They already do it through postal. This would be awesome, No more going the rental shop to find out all copies of the latest game are out on rental.

Have you tried this yet? If you have do you need to enter card details for the free 30 day trial?
