iv just updated to OFW 3.55 from CFW 3.55 via usb stick no problems. i didn't clear any history whatsoever. but now i don't know if i should go ahead and update to 3.56 or wait . i want to stay on CFW :pirate:

if your using the CFW for game patches such as mw2 ect, then jsut get the patch u want n put it in then update,

if ur using it for other things, then buy a new ps3 n update it >_>? or use the bypass for a few days till it gets patched, itl work no logner than a week im guessing, Lol


most likly, there b another CFW cause sony security... quite frankly... dosnt quite cut it.. if you know what i mean

yeah i only used it for game patches . didn't get chance to use it for anything else. so u think il be safe putting the CFW 3.55 back on and try bypassing in DNS?. when u say get the patch u want n put it in then update,

basicaly, get ur favorite patches on the CFW and put them in, after that, u can either do the bypass method. wich will work for like a week or so like i said, then itl get patched, then you gota update, but go back to OFW before updating, and ull still ahve ure patches ect on official
