these people are fighting for freedom, i bought my ps3 and if i want i can burn it, shoot it or fukkkkin run any software i want, all sony had to do was ban from psn, but instead they try controlling your console and send law suits to any one modding their console, who cares about shittty cod games or pirating, they own psn not your ps3 console, its like me selling u a phone and then if u install a app i say to u delete it bitchhh or ima kick your assss, hope u see it now

ummm your wrong... yes you can burn your ps3 shoot it or whatever physical thing you want do to it, but you can not run any software you want, when you bought your ps3 you paid for the hardware so you own the hardware part there it's yours but the software is licensed by sony not sold meaning you can not touch it that's is why you agree to the end user license agreement that's why you can't make kernels on Windows or Mac, but linux is open source meaning you can do whatever the hell you want to the software, the ps3 is not open source so you can't run your own homebrew, but yea they did go a bit overboard with the lawsuits

You bought a product made by someone at your discretion, by purchasing you agree on terms and conditions set by the company. It is true that it's your property now but it's still a part of franchise owned by someone else. It's pretty easy to say things like these from perspective you are facing it, but not from the company's perspective. Again you can do anything you want with it, but the company has the rights to implement what ever they seem is best. In short, you bought a product made by someone by choice, if you make something do whatever you wish
