(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys,

as most of u know, the psn server is down....

but, no1 that i hav heard from can pin-point (including SONY) the cause of this ps crysis, as i like to call itSmile

a popular theory that i have heard thrown around by mostly my friends and 4chan users is..... 4chan, yes,
4chan the asshole of the internet, we all love 4chan, but is 4chan and it's users the ones behind this chaos of biblical proportions?
because as alot of u may already know, SONY have all credit card numbers of people that have previously used the ps store with a credit card, and that is an awful lot of money!,, u realy do not want 4chan with that kind of information.

so i ask u, wat do u guys think?? :y:

Is 4chan and Anonymous the same. Cause Anonymous is doing all the hacking and DDos attacks.

How do people seriously believe a group of people could take down a service that is capable of supporting thousands, if not millions of connections throughout the world? Also, the Playstation Network is not centralised, so therefore if anyone was going to 'hack' it they would have to do so to every different regions specific host i.e. au, us, eu...

Anonymous, nor 4chan (seriously, the whole of 4chan would not try to do this, /b/ might, but for obvious reasons they would fail) would put in that much effort to prove something as pointless as this.

4chan =/= Anonymous. Anonymous just affiliates itself with various online image boards (7chan, 4chan, iichan, etc.) every now and then.

And believe me, they're more capable than you guys may think. They're not just "DDoSers", they're hacktivists, like Cult of the Dead Cow (You must login or register to view this content.).

I suppose you could say their motivations are different though.
