So my father in law(lady's father), builds and maintains government network servers. He told us on sunday that if he owned the psn it would be up on tuesday, have already caught the hacker(s) himself then warned all users of the network that he was going to start charging for the usage of PSN just like XBL.
Then he said, but since he doesn't own it, that the PSN will most likely be completely restored, without the hacker(s) being caught on the following tuesday. With more security precautions that they have to pay for so they will most likely will start charging users just like XBL.
Besides: "cool story bro".
What i'm actually looking for is:
If the PSN does start to charge but their servers are more up to par as XBL's are. Would you stay with ps3 and pay for the subscription, or would you say eff it and just switch to Xbox, because their servers are already up to par?
IMO, I think that it would be more worthwhile to pay for the subscription, see if things are better for alittle while, connection wise. If not I'll purchase xboxes and keep the ps3's just for the first party releases and play all the third party releases, on the xboxes.
