Looks like Sony may not be catching a break anytime soon sadly. 
The PS4 and a complete rewrite of PSN may be closer than you think. As much as I dislike Sony's stance on OtherOS and home-brew, we really need them for competition of console.

Maybe try reading my post first? I never mentioned Xbox. Never said the PS4 would be hacked, I was implying Sony may need to release it sooner to hopefully stop some of this hacking and to earn some profit. I owned a PS3 back in December of 2006. It's spelled BELIEVE. And I am not making this up if you would have actually read the post.

i was hoping i wouldnt be readin this article seems like its never ending
as for psn im beggining to get bored and inpaitent now
looks like we wont be seeing psn anytime soon sony wont put servers back online again of fears of it all gettin wiped out completly
i actually dnt know how much more i can take of this £300 just thrown away

Sony is indeed in a bad spot right now, they have fallen pretty low the last few weeks, but Sony in the long term isn't going anywhere in the gaming market.

and give sony a break. c'mon they have been unfair in the past but going this far is just to far. even now im starting to get pissed of with these people and i don't even go on my ps3 much.
