(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok use this if your ps3 has been:
Lagging while playing games
Freezing up
Turned off incorrectly several times in a row

All these things may screw up your ps3 or just make it slow.
It will also fix your bluray drive if it wont read disks.

[multipage=Tutorial ]

1.Hold your power button until your ps3 turns off
2.Hold the power button again until it turns on then off again
3.Hold the power button until you hear 3 beeps, then let go.
4.Connect your controller via USB(Or just connect if you use Power A)
5.Choose option "Rebuild Database", It will then rebuild.
6.Repeat Steps 1 through 4
7.Choose option "Rebuild File Base"
8.Once its done rebuilding, Your PS3 will be much faster and the BluRay drive will work if it wasn't reading disks.
9.Test out a game, like Fallout:New Vegas, which can be VERY laggy if your ps3 is slow.

[multipage=READ Before doing tutorial ]

Do this at your own risk, I am not responsible for anything that might happen to your ps3, If you follow this tutorial, you will be fine.

All your messages will be deleted, I'm not sure if protecting them would help. But if you have important messages, write them down.

[multipage=Full Video Tutorial ]

You may want to skip the rebuild part of the video if you dont want to wait.
