I Turned the back switch off ( Its a fat 80 gb new model) and after some minutes I turned the switch on and the red light came on but when I turned on it showed the green light for a milisecond and bipped once then turned off. After that , neighter the red light was showing, it only shows Back when I turn it of on the back and turn on again after ~ 2 minutes then when I turn on or push the eject button it does the same thing I already did a research on Google but nothing.. Thanks guys

does it ever flash a yellow light? might be a faulty power source connection. or just YLOD cuz it is the older model.

No, does not show any yellow light, only green. And it is the new model as said.

You said fat new model. That's confusing. But I am clueless to fix your problem, did it overheat at all before?

Its the 2009 model ( The new 80gb fat with 2 usbs) and I dont think it overheated , I dont know

I think all PS3's have 2 USB's, just saying. You should call Sony and see what have to say about it.

Is the power source cord in the back loose at all? I would try removing that, blowing in the hole, then inserting the cord back into the slot.

That's the only thing I can think of since your not getting any colored light on the main LED.

If you have a Desktop computer try removing the Desktop's power cord and plugging it into the back of the PS3.
