Its a Ps3 Slim running on 3.66 (I think) Whatever is the latest one is what I have lol.

i think theres an error code list somewhere on here..... or go to playstation website and go to error codes it'll tell u how to fix

Reset your Router by unplugging your router for 10 seconds then plug it back in then restart ps3 and tell me if you still have the problem

Weird thing is neither this site or playstation site have this error code listed..

i think ive only got this error code once before..... maybe its because your bro is on his and the router cant handle that much info.... thats my guess.... have u tried using an ethernet cable..?

Nope haven't tried ethernet cause I don't have one long enough but we always play with both our consoles on at the same time so that wouldn't make sense and earlier we were both on our 360's and I had no problem

I'm not really a "Genius" myself but maybe you could try some of these things....
Also when you say "having trouble connecting online", does that mean internet and all or is it just on PSN?

Turn off your PS3, unplug your router for 10-20 seconds, then turn the PS3 back on and give me some info.
