So how can I purposely break the PS3 but make it look like it was natural or something?

Do a barrel roll!
Put some disc you don't like in it, and while it is spinning up start shaking the PS3 a lot. Then you say the disc drive doesn't work.

A guaranteed way is as posted above already. Just wrap your ps3 in a towel and leave it on all night. The next morning you will wake up to the YLOD most likely.

But before you do that. Is your ps3 really in that bad of shape? As long as it still works then I don't think it's necessary to go drop $250 on a new one just so it "looks" better. :/

So it's a for sure way to kill it? I'll wrap it up at like 10 and unwrap it at like 6. Is that enough time to do the dirty deed?

Unless your ps3 goes into godmode then yes that should do it.

Its obvious he isnt buying the new ps3 he wants to make it look natural so his mum/dad will buy him a new one.. all he has to do is complain for a bit = new model ps3

Well yeah I realize that, but I don't see the point in having your parents spend that much money when your ps3 was working perfectly fine in the first place. Just get an outter case and no one will know it's been used.
