NOTE: Please dont hate, this may be easy for some, but for some others its a difficult process.

What you will need:

• HD PVR
  
• Power Cable
  
• USB Cable
  
• Thick Double-end Component Cable
  
• PS3/Xbox 360 Component Cable
  
• A Computer

System Requirements:
Processor Requirements (minimum): Dual core CPU 2.0GHz or faster
Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit), Windows Vista or Windows XP service pack 2 (32-bit)
Graphics with 256MB memory (or greater)
Sound card
CD-ROM drive for installing the HD PVR software (Optional)

1. Plug the component cables into the back of the PVR

2. Plug the thick component cable other end into your TV

3. Plug the back of the PS3/Xbox 360 Component cable (PS3/360 end) in into your console

4. Plug the USB cable and power cable (simple)

5. Insert your installation disc into your PC and follow the steps. NOTE: FOR INSTALLATION WITHOUT DISC LOOK AT VIDEO BELOW.

6. Once installed, open Arcsoft Total Media, making sure the drivers are installed.

7. Go back to your PS3 and follow the images. (DISPLAY SETTINGS)

NOTE: Do not select 1080i or 1080p as it will record in this and the files are huge and will KILL your PC (Select 720p)

Select "Set Audio Output Settings" and choose this option:

8. Refresh the source option in total media and it should come up with HD PVR, then for best quality click Format Settings and set max bitrate to best.

9. Enjoy and start recording
If any of the images dont work: right click the little icon and hit "copy image URL" and paste it into another tab URL


NO DISC INSTALLATION SOFTWARE:

Nice tutorial, a lot of work looks like it went into it. I dont have a PVR but if i ever end up with one i will defo use this tutorial on setting up
