i have just found a Microsoft wireless 1.1 keyboard laying around, i have connected the USB end into the Ps3 and i am trying to connect the key board to it , but i am having no luck,

Go to Settings > Accessory Settings > Manage Bluetooth Devices. Then Register New Device.

USB Keyboards kinda suck if your PS3 is kinda far away from where you sit, B Keyboards are much preferred.

Get a blue tooth keyboard. Then you don't have a cord tangled up and all over. Plus you can take it anywhere it that room.

i use a bluetooth tablet keyboard from kensington. works perfect. there are alot of cheap alternatives too. or get the keypad that attaches to ur controller for around $40.
