(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was wondering if the SATA revision affects the compatibilty with the PlayStation. I believe the slim uses a SATA II hardrive, and I have a spare SATA III hardrive. Also, is there any tips or information I should know before doing the transition (preferably from personal experiences)? Thanks.

Yes, I am aware of that. However, there are different revisions, such as Sata II or Sata III. I'm not sure if that matters though. The 2.5 inch is the size of the hard drive, and most laptop hard drives will fit the requirements.
