(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys I was trying to update my ps3 via USB storage to 3.50 I got red screen and If you guys get this just do the simple downgrade process and your ps3 will be up and running again.

Thought I would let you know because I was about to send It to Sony

Yup happend to me aswell. Fairly simple to fix. All I did actually was just disable Service Mode and then it stopped complaining. Then again we might have had different causes for the Red Screen. I think I had just updated to 3.50 via USB while in Service Mode (apparently a no noWinky Winky)

how it didn't happen to you? cuz im about to downgrade ill buy a new PS3 so what files did you use? (.PUP) etc?

well just got the 351.PUP and went to system setting>system update>update via usb

Im pretty sure you need to do it through safe mode instead

Easy just downgrade but use the 3.50 pup apperently it worked for some kid

Robbing People . they make £250 when we buy them but if they break they want at least half of that to fix it , the only good thing is they dont tend to give you the orginal ps3 you sent they give you a refurb so its like a new ps3 :P
