How to Download and Install from ps3 web browser:
Step 1: plug your Usb hard drive (fat32 format)
Step 2: come to this post on your PS3 Web Browser If your not already.
Step3: Highlight the address after pkg file:You must login or register to view this content. with your pointer...
Step 4: While the pointer is on the address of the PKG fil...Press Triangle ...Choose FILE.... Choose SAVE TARGET... Choose USB HDD as the destination and let the file download to your usb hdd..
Step5: After it has finished downloading go to the icon under GAME on your CFW 3.55 v1.2 (only custom firmware users have this icon) and locate the icon that says INSTALL PACKAGE FILES

EDIT: Grand Tourismo is listed as full on brewology however it was a Demo!

So.............to add in some noob termige here.....
Grand tourismo, you downloaded from Sony's 'warehouse' of games, and installed it onto your PS3. ALL games can have this done, but GT is screwed up in how it is Signed somehow so that it skips over the PS3 protection and is playable??

well im not sure WHY... I just know that this one particular game played when you installed the retail pkg

Super street fighter HD
Lemmings
1942
Tekken Dark Res
THEY ALL INSTALLED and NONE WERE PLAYABLE...
this was the only game that was but id like the topic to be more about the fact you can do the download from a ps3 web browser that was kinda what my original topic was posted for the REAPER closed...

and for whatever reason this is labled as you can see. HERE You must login or register to view this content.
As a FULL and a UK title no less (im on 3.55CFW v1.2 for NTSC-U region 4 the vid)
and installs peachy!
And FLOW was free at one point many PSN PLUS PKG are free i wonder if that means there are others that apply to that theory good eye nightwolf2
