How to Download and Install from ps3 web browser:

Step 1: plug your Usb hard drive (fat32 format)

Step 2: come to this post on your PS3 Web Browser If your not already.

Step3: Highlight the address after pkg file: with your pointer...

Step 4: While the pointer is on the address of the PKG fil...Press Triangle ...Choose FILE.... Choose SAVE TARGET... Choose USB HDD as the destination and let the file download to your usb hdd..

Step5: After it has finished downloading go to the icon under GAME on your CFW 3.55 v1.2 (only custom firmware users have this icon) and locate the icon that says INSTALL PACKAGE FILES

In regard to deleting it from the usb HDD the XMB HAS NO OPTION FOR THIS IM AFRAID so choose wisely if youve no pc thats a very good point tho if your like many ppl you have a Western Digital Book stabbed in with at least 1tb for media i get alot of data from just ps3 web browser for folks with no pc and post it at for cams dvdrips mp3 files streaming tv shows ect for a clan im in on ps home so one of the first things i try with files im downloading is to test the ps3 web browser with it i just thought it might be useful to ppl and thought id share it thats all

search brewology for the PKG you wanna test using there java app then it generates a link to that file from zues server:

The result is this link you can post and download right from the web browser as i showed in the first post try this link if you like it may not load but it WILL INSTALL IT its a PSN PLUS PKG OF WIPEOUT HD



MAKING GAME MODS OF PSN TITLES ISNT SO FAR OFF and we could have the original and a modded vcersion of say PIXEL JUNK EDEN ill explain..

EACH TIME YOU GENERATE THE PKG IT IS UNIQUE I CAN INSTALL THE SAME GAME 2 or 3 times and have it on xmb 2 or 3 times if i regenerate a new pkg address with brewology's tool i can install that same pkg again it does not over write it makes a new install interesting lil test i thought i couldnt have more that one copy of a game or it would identify it but thats noit the case this is cool because ive open games like PIXEL JUNK EDEN i can modify the ICON0 (pic in the xmb) i can open the .PAK files that hold the graphics with a QUAKE EDITING TOOL and the AT3 sound also very easy to modify in games like RATCHET AND CLANK i noted .BIK and . BNK file format this means WE CAN USE " RAD TOOLS" google it... To modify these in game cinimatic videos (like i did on wii with the conduit or ps3 games like LBP and GTA4 also use BINK VIDEO CINIMATICS that can be replaced in the iso/pkg when tools allow it ...point is im sure we can mod some of these 2 then create a " patch to apply" to the ISO (like we do when we make a hacked rom) and though we cannot legally distribute a ISO or a PKG thats been modified safely... WE CAN MAKE A PATCH FOR THOSE WHO OWN A ISO OF SAID TITLE TO APPLYA "rom hack" to it i have done this for mario kart wii and the conduit and a few other commercial games ive modified and distributed "patches for" is a place to see that in action my pal jose gallardo is gr8 at real talented fella
