Ps3 update Help

My ps3 is on geohots 3.55 cfw, I saw a post for a code that you put on .cmd on pc but cant find it now that makes it so your ps3 doesn't update can someone help me out thank you.

Ok. Im just saying.
At the moment while your still on CFW 3.55-JB
Install all the Homebrew you want and need to.
Then install the OFW again, all your Homebrew will still be there and work fine. (Make sure you get the FTP)
Then take a look at this Thread:

Thank you so much QS&SnD I repd and i did that explore 1st thing this morning so thank you again but my last question is I dont leave cfw on ps3? I just revert back to ofw. im used to modding psp, ipods, and xbox360 im new to ps3 modding community so thanks for all the future help and for the answers you giving me now thank you all.

Your so Welcome Just got install OFW again. maybe there maybe another hack after this new firmware that is going to be out in a few days. :P

and 1 more thing so after i install ofw. Ill still have ftp and backup manager etc and can i still install .pkg or should i wait for new cfw.

Yes you still have all the Homebrew apps you had on CFW, its just the 'Install Packages' sub section of the XMB is gone. Soooo You still have your Homebrew you just cant install anymore. Just dont use any CFW until the next OFW comes out.
