(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I jailbroke on 3.55, and I was gunna update to 3.56 so i can play online again.

Will updating to the OFW from a CFW brick my ps3?

just go back to 3.55 ofw then go to 3.56 there will be no bricking.

No, if you update your PS3 from 3.55 CFW to 3.56 OFW it will definitely not brick your PS3, everything what you loose by updating your PS3 is the ability to run the Jailbroken programs in other you can not change the Patches for COD ect. but you can still host Challenge Lobbies.

i was on geohot cfw 3.55 and updated straight to 3.56 with NO problems at all.
relax most of the stories of bricking is bull. urban legends, lol.

Most people say updating straight from 3.55 CFW wont brick/screw up your console at all.
You can either do that, or update back to 3.55 OFW, and then update to 3.56....
ORRRRRRR you can just bypass

Sony officially patched any type of bypass for 3.55 cfw..

Excuse me for being new to this, but I have a question. Everyone keeps saying they can't play online with 3.55 CFW. Then why is it that just about every game I join on W@W is it hacked? :whistle:
