what exactly does this do?

I had got the hacks on my ps3 when it was jailbroken, unfortunately i have upgraded because i wanted to play online. Me and a mate where trying to get the hacks, he eventually managed to get them via putting the dropzone folder in all different variations everywhere, unfortunately as much as i tried and did the exact same thing as him i could not get the hacks to work. So in the end i just copied his hacked version of the game from his ps3 to mine and then the hacks worked

u need a backup of the game to mod it. i already know he got it illegally but if he simply backed up the actual game to the ps3 or HDD he can mod it. to my knowledge you can't mod it on the disk. How you get the backup is up to u. I would just buy the game takes to long to download.
