question:

I have already data transfered from a 3.41 to a 3.56 PS3... just wondering if I wanted to keep data on a 3.56 and not lose it all again by data transfering, can I data transfer the other way???

So, could I get a 3.56 to data transfer to 3.41, mod files then data transfer back to 3.56???

it seems probable but i have no idea or anyone for that matter knows how to do that

Is there anyway around not formatting drive again??? Is there away to copy data that says it's copyrighted and won't let you put it on usb????

no. if you data transfer you gotta format. and im not sure what your trying to ask.

if your trying to copy data off your CFW ps3 then use awesome file manager. hit select to go into advanced mode but b careful. if you delete or mess something up it could brick your ps3.

What I meant was if there's games like GT5,Blackops , etc I wanted to transfer to 3.41. but if I can't transfer to 3.41 is there another way to get data off ps3 as having trouble spoofing my 3.41....

I'd rather not upgrade the 3.41 to 3.55 or above with different cfw....

if your on 3.56 then the backups shouldn't work anyway. but if your on 3.55 CFW you can use a FTP server or Awesome file manager to get the files off your ps3 to the 3.41 ps3. you gotta put the whole blues-xxxxx(or whatever it is for the game) folder and copy to your usb device or FTP to your computer and then your 3.41.
