When a homebrews gets released early in the month I check it out and say, "Oh, I'll download it later for sure." But then 2-3 weeks pass by, and then the thread is lost. Now I know, I can can search for the thread but sometimes the search just doesn't work out. I either forget the name or just to lazy to look for it. Now I don't know about you, but I'm guessing there are more people like me that have this issue. So, I thought of a simple solution! Why not make a thread with all the PS3 homebrews/homebrew updates that were released every month!
Since I thought of the idea two months into the new year, I started from March 2011. SO! Any homebrew before the month of March is not in this thread
Starting March 5, 2011 I will be notifying every thread owner that there thread is being posted in my thread.
If a thread gets really left behind and old PLEASE! do not bump the thread! Do this...
You wanna say thanks to their thread? Hit
Don't like their thread? Hit
Got a question about the thread? PM the creator with the URL of the thread and your question
*All credit goes to the thread creator's and their sources*

3/21/2011PS3IDA Project released, useful *only* for developers! It's a collection of IDA scripts and plugins, includes PPCJT :
3/20/2011MultiMAN 01.16.10 Changelog:
Added: reflections to [Box art] display mode
Added: cover-boxes to [4x2] display mode
Changed: multiMAN icon
GregoryRasputin@PS3Hax - 03-21-2011 06:33 AM
Everyone who installed this manager, including myself, did so blindly, we didn't check to see the differences between it and multiMAN, in the image below, is a comparison between Venix and multiMAN, in Venix you see two folders, one which says CFW and one that says OFW, no both those folders have two files each, which are
category_game.xml
and
nas_plugin.sprx
From viewing my console, it is not apparent what these files may have changed, or if in fact they have changed anything at all, they could have detrimental effects to the console, who knows, but just be careful in future...
3/20/2011
3/19/2011The tool contains a bunch of PS3 OFW's and CFW's as well as Homebrew apps.
You just browse the easy to use GUI to find what you are looking for, then you will be given a description of the file and be able to download the file.
I am releasing this PlayStation 3 homebrew application for a good friend who wishes to remain anonymous, called Easy MFWBuilder v0.1 it simply allows users to build Modified PS3 Firmware.

We inform this new application is being developed by Allegory to easily create pkgs.
The idea is to convert the physical format games DG HG property to run directly from the HDD without having to undergo any manager games (Multimedia).
I discussed this in beta but from DHorg want to give our support to continue developing and improving this tool that looks great.

3/21/2011The newest version of the arcarde emulator is here, FBANext PS3 r438. This latest version comes with added macros input which means x3 punch x3 kick etc. Just as a reminder, these are interim releases and might still contain some bugs. This is a multi-console emulator. Thus it is able to emulate the following on the PS3 consoles.
3/21/2011As a follow-up to the PS3Index Online PS3 Game Param.sfo Community Database damox has released a small PS3Index PC application damox worked on today.
Details are as follows:
What: Another way to submit games to the PS3Index. With this application, you browse to the root of your backed up PS3 games, it will find the param.sfo files we are interested in, then you can upload them to the PS3Index.

This is a little demo for libps3gui by me. It is basically a port of libwiigui by tantric to work with psl1ght.
To compile it, you need psl1ght,
tiny3d, libfreetype, libvorbis, libmpg123, libaudioplayer, and libogg (this is made to work with the current versions as of 3/19/2011, but hopefully wont be broken by future versions ).
The connect4 engine was written by Keith
Pomakis.
It is intended to be used with the cursor (press L3 and use the left analog
stick to move around), but it should be mostly functional just using the d-pad.
As with libwiigui, it is licensed under GPLv2.

Webe++ is a bluetooth app that syncs with your Ps3. It lets you use the d-pad directional buttons, triangle circle X square, start and select. Plus a full qwerty keyboard.
You can also use the blank part of the screen to swipe left right up and down if you prefer.
It works flawlessly and I'm very impressed with it.
It's $5 from BigBoss (through Cydia) - although, I'm sure other repositories have it too
No more clunky IR keyboard, and no need for me to buy the Keyboard attachment
If you're looking for something like this then go get it. I give it a full 10/10.
Here is a screen (not from my phone)
