I download this file: You must login or register to view this content. which is supposed to be the 3.55 official firmware. i put it on the usb and instead of saying 3.55 bdb or whatever it says the following uupdate was found and under it 3.56-TripUrStar-BDB by what it says I'm afrid it's 3.56 firmware and that would mean no jailbreak for me. Can anybody give me a 3.55 bdb ofw, I can't seem to find any others and Idk how to make my own, Greatly Appreciated.

Every update i try now says the data is corrupted before it starts to download

I had that problem to, make sure you have no disk in your ps3. If so take it out and it should say 3.55 instayed of 3.56
