So i bought it and took it home and when i turned it on it said 3.66....I was like WTF!!! Does anybody know where to get a ps3 on a low firmware because i looked and had no luck.

Yeah don't ask for their lowest firmware system. They're stupid, and don't know wtf that means half the time. You ask them, 'WHAT'S YOUR OLDEST REFURBISHED, OR TRADED IN PS3 SYSTEM?' They'll then pull it from the back. :y: That's what I did. I was ****ing off with the guys, and once they got it out the back, I asked if they'd check out the firmware before I bought it. They mumbled, as a joke, then were like yeah man. Be cool, nice, awesome, and they'll be like OKAY! Commission baby. Commission.

I got mine off ebay brand new few weeks back, slim version 320GB that came on 3.55 or 3.56 firmware.. I wouldn't listen to anyone in the shops, they will say anything for you to buy.. All there thinking about is the commission.. Hope you get it sorted man.. :y:

i bought a brand new 60 gig launch ps3 backwards compatible with the door on the front from gamestop,it was on 3.42 so i'm guessing someone traded it in because they wanted to have a 3.41 so they got mad lol..

If you want a new retail PS3 with 3.55 or lower, you need to find places that don't sell many PS3s. There is a small electronics store near me that hjad the same 4 PS3s in the case for over 6 months. They are dusty they have been sitting so long. I would bet they are all on 3.55 or lower.
