(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi
I miss my 3.55 CFW and regret updating ever since.
However, I would like to know if it is possible to remove my PS3 HDD, plug it into my PC and modify it's files, for example add a patch to a game, and reinsert it into my PS3 without reformatting it.
If it is possible, please link me to a guide or post instructions.
If it is not, well thank you for reading this.

I don't think you can view the files from your ps3, correct me if I'm wrong though because I'm not positive.

Do a barrel roll!
You can not simply plug your ps3 hd into your pc...In fact, as soon as you do that, that ps3 hd won't work when you put it back into the ps3... Your ps3 will tell you something like that it has to be formatted, so, please don't try.
