Okay I am thinking of Jailbreaking my perfectly good working 260 GB ps3. But before I do I want to be safe it won't ruin it etc.... What are the bad points of a jailbreak e.g. Sony ban you. I need to know so make a list man and thanks if you and to anyone who does help me here.

if the system is not conected to internet and offline you cannot get banned, that i know of

3.55 cannot go online unless you install 4.11 - 3.55 Spoofer - in that case you have a chance of getting banned

Ive been playing online on my 3.55 since the spoof was released and still am. However there are a few measures i take to prevent sony logging me

- PS ID Patch (Randomises Console ID)
- Ninja (Changes history basically)
- I also dont run homebrew when online or use backups (i use whipe history to clear homebrew)

There's 2 million tutorials out on the internet... this is useless.
