Proudly presenting these special pups here for dex users... got a dex but cant get tools to use the thing? for example newer BD emu tools and such. well dont fret. i included a set of firmwares here that will take away the pain. once you run the first pup it will convert your box to a "retail" box. you can then install rebug kmeaw etc etc. if you ever want to go back to DEX (debug) then just run the second pup that came with it and viola back to debug. also this all only works on 3.55. kthnxbai.

For those running DEX higher then v3.55, you also might need the special 'downgrade' DEX pup to enable to go back to lower firmware.

For those running DEX higher then v3.55, you might also need this special 'downgrade' DEX pup to re-enable the feature on your converted DEX machine to go back to any lower version of firmware file. -- It only needs to be run once, and then you can install the normal 3.55 DEX PUP afterwards.

so if im on 4.20 and i get the special dex firmware could i downgrade?

Well, the "Special" Downgrade pup sounds to good to be true. I've heard about that TLG released a "Downgrade" from 4.20 to 3.55 which semi-bricks your ps3, Minvercheck is needed.
I think this is fake, but he will release a video proof soon.
There are already picture proof, but that could've been faked.

Edit: ohh, I missunderstood. I tought this was a 4.20 ofw downgrade, the TLG one is, but there are no solid proof that it's real.

Guys this release just enables you to do back and forth from DEBUG to CEX (retail) any time you wish, without reformatting or losing any files, etc.

Have you tried this your self or is it just copy and past ..?... And does it work

it works and no i haven't tried it because i can downgrade wen i want to anyway so tbf im not really bothered
