    Default NOT WORKING: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots ~ Big Boss Emblem + others

    EDIT (8/6): Confirmed by members of NGU... these saves provided in this post DO NOT unlock trophies with the new trophy patch released on August 5th. I'll leave the links up for anyone who just wants the saves to just have them, but again -- these DO NOT UNLOCK ANY METAL GEAR SOLID 4 TROPHIES.



    Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots
    CFW/Xploder saves


    Okay, so most everyone has heard that Metal Gear Solid 4 is getting a trophy patch in about a month or so:



    So I decided to preempt the patch release date and upload my saves for the game when I earned the Big Boss emblem back in '08. I've got three saves ready to go here:

    • One save is just before the Liquid fight at the end of Act 5 on The Boss Extreme Difficulty. As long as you beat Liquid within about 15-20 minutes, you should be good to get the Big Boss Emblem/Rank. Remember to skip all of the cutscenes to make the time limit needed for the Rank.
    • One save is just after the above save, thus, Liquid has been beaten and you're ready to watch the end of the game (skip all of the cutscenes to make the time limit).
    • The final save is on Liquid Easy and it's after I've beaten the game many times and I've gotten all but the Panther rank (I think it's Panther I need, anyway -- hey, it was four YEARS ago). Every item in the game has been acquired at this point and it's right at the start of Act 4 (Shadow Moses base).

    Awesome info + saves. I have beaten this game at least 6 times and will upload a trophy save after the patch is released if needed (although I haven't bought Xploder yet... I don't know why, college life is sucking all of my "disposable income" I guess). I am really happy that this game is getting trophy support as I am a huge MGS fan and this game is amazing! *random* is anyone willing to sell an Xploder code for cheap? If not I will just wait a month or two and buy one from the official website. Thanks again OP!
