That's not true, the computer can get slowed too for bumping you.

It was meant to be released a very long time ago, they keep putting it off though. March is officially announced though!

not really 9 times out of 10 the computer normaly drives straight thru u anyway an even if they do get the penaulty its nowhere near the same as what the player gets because u never burn away to much from them, the series was ruined when they added the 5 second pen for hitting stuff, because u cant play a game an get use to driving 3 driving classes an then have them add it on the last class if that is still in the game this will be an awful game to play

Got to remember, the AI in those games has great reaction times. So if they're driving straight through you, it's most likely you're holding a line through a turn. Side-by-side is just a "bit of rubbin, and rubbin is racin."

I like the 5 second penalty, because it makes you a better driver, especially when going H2H with a real person. The bump and run is the most pansy-butt manuevuer in GT and I'm glad they did something about it. This game is more then likely going to have some online modes and I'm sure it'll be implemented so we don't have "slam into the guy as he enters the corner" match.

The whole point of that penalty was so the game makers didn't have to create a "car damage system". In the "most realistic driving simulation", it only makes sense. In this upcoming game as well, I heard there was supposed to be a damage system, but I wonder how they'll implement it? I hope it just penalizes the driver who hits the other guy, but if I'm running in first and some jackass is driving the course backwards, it'll completely Frick my race.
