Do a barrel roll!
By looking at this, I am assuming that you must also have a wireless adapter to keep your PS3 and internet connected to your computer at the same time, correct?

Haxor!
STEP(1) Connect your desktop/laptop to your ps3 via the ethernet cable.

STEP(2)Go to network settings. (Right click the computer icon on the taskbar, and click network settings. Or Start--> Control Panel--> Network Connections. While there, make sure all internet connection sharing connections are off. To do so, right click the connection, click properties, then click the advanced tab, and uncheck"Allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection." You are ready to bridge. There are different ways to bridge, but i'm going to show you the main way. select the two connections to bridge"hamachi, and local." Read the steps below on how to setup your hamachi. When the 2 are selected, right click-->bridge connections. They should now be bridged. From there you should see a "network bridge 1" local area connection, and hamachi. Right click local area connection and click"remove from network bridge. Then do the same with hamachi. Leave the network bridge connection there.

STEP(3)From here, go to your ps3 and go to network settings-->internet connection--> disable, then within 10 seconds re-enable it. from there, go to internet connection settings, select wired and do everything normally. DONT TEST IT. When your done, go back to your PC.(media servers may effect this)

STEP(4)Now that were here, it is time to setup hamachi. Click turn on button. It is a big square in the top left hand corner. When it is finished, click the network tab, then create a network. Create a network ID that is easy to remember but not used. Make the password as simple as 1234. Your friend/partner should now be-able to connect to your new hamachi server. (VPN) When they do connect, right click there name, and click ping. If you get request timed out, disable your firewall. Both windows, and your private firewall. OR make exceptions for hamachi, and the IP of your partner. If this still doesn't work, right click local connection-->properties-->general tab--> scroll down on the box and double click internet protocall TCP/IP-->advanced-->WINS tab--> enable net bios. If it is enabled, disable it. Still can't connect? It might be your connection, or your friend.

STEP(5)After ping was successful, Go back to your PS3 and go to system settings-->data transfer utility--> then you will be the responder depending on what your doing. If your sending the patch, click #1. If your receiving click #2. Now wait. It can take up to 5 minutes for the connection to start, depending on how far apart you are/your ping. After time has passed, and nothing happens, go back to your PC and right click ping in your partner. If you get the correct reply, with a LOW ping, Wait awhile longer. If request times out, read above.

HELP!How to disable firewall? Go to start-->control panel-->security center-->turn windows firewall off. For your private firewall, contact your computer admin, or do it yourself if you know how. How long will this take? Depends. If you can do this fast enough, with a fairly good ping, around 30mins. How do I test my own ping? start-->run-->type in "cmd" --> then type in ping "your hamachi IP adreass here" Without the quotes. When your finished transfering, you may delete the network bridge. When re-transfering, follow the same steps above. "it's advised to turn your firewall's back on once finished."

I get all this working fine, and I can ping everyone in the network, but when I add the network bridge, it stops working... ideas?
