What amazes me as I've been in the Black Ops sections for the PS3 mods is that there are plenty of retards that don't know jack about the basics of coding.
The PS2 was and still is a great way to start if you're using Sony's consoles. Editing the ISOs on PS2 is a great way to start into the ELFs for the PS3. All you need is the decrypted SELFs and you can work on your own project. Well, how can you work when there are nationwide tards? Not sure.
Has anyone learned PowerPC before the PS2 came out? I know this division of assembly is basically the stone age of modern-day code, but you have to admit that it is interesting. Started out on tutorials and such for editing the variables and the whole bit about nop to sustain something.
Went from tutorials to learning x86 then back to PPC since I never knew Sony used it again on the PS3. Thought they would be smarter than that, but I stated that Sony is like a baby and doesn't learn until their devs get constantly annoyed with something (3.55 and their security flaw of accounts...)
What are your thoughts about the 'revolution' between the PS2 to the PS3 and the PS3's start at 1.00 to 4.11? (~60 or so firmwares)
