Now turn your Ps3/Xbox360 Online (make sure you sign in)

Open up Cain & Abel


On the tab, select 'Sniffer'



Now click 'Configure'

Scroll over

Now select the option that's your Router. Should be something like linksys

Now click 'Apply'


Now click Ok



Now you should be back to the main window of Cain and Abel. Make sure the tabs on top is selected to 'Sniffer' and the bottom one is on 'Host.' Then click the 'Sniffer' option.



click the blue + sign



Now another pop-up window should come up.



It should start scanning



Now you may see more then 2 IP's, but just focus on your Routers IP and your Xbox360/Ps3. Your Router is the one that says the brand of your router. Remember what IP your router is and what IP your Xbox360/Ps3 is.
Now on the Bottom tabs, click 'APR'

Now where you see 2 horizontal columns, click the UPPER column.



Now the blue '+' sign should be up again, at the same place... click it



1 Now a new window should pop up again...



Click the IP of your ROUTER on the LEFT side



Click the IP of your XBOX on the RIGHT side..



18: Now click 'OK'



Now all you have to do to Turn standby ON and OFF is to click the RadioActive Sign up top.. But you can't lag just yet, you have to setup ZoneAlarm Pro as well..



NOW for the ZoneAlarm Pro part..

On the blue menu to the left, click 'Firewall'



Keep your Internet and Trusted zones on 'Medium' or 'Low'

Select the 'Zones' Tab

Now if your network is on 'Trusted,' right click over it and change it to 'Internet'



Now go back to the 'MAIN' tab.. and turn your Internet security on High, while keeping the Trusted Zone on Medium or Low..



NOW go back to Cain and Abel and just click the radioactive sign whenever you wan't to turn lagging ON and click it again to turn lagging OFF. As always, remember that if you keep lagging on too long, you'll either disconnect from the game/psn or you'll disconnect people from your match if you are host.

Q: Can I do this on a Wireless Connection?

When I try to install ZAP a message pops up:

Just would like to add that Zone Alarm is known to give Blue screen on Windows vista machines so wouldn't really recommend using it if you are on Vista but by all means use if on Xp, not sure about Windows 7.

Guys cain and able is NOT a virus its used for hacking so your anti virus program will think its a virus but its not. I've had this program on my computer for Days and nothing has happened and my virus detector programs [O&O Defrag and Telus securty] Have not detected a thing from Cain and abel.
So the bottom line is that this program is safe, Just make sure you download it from the original website and not any others.

I was wondering is it possible to do this without using zonealarm. Using a differnet firewall.
