(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I just got a new ps3 and made it DEX. While going through ProDG Target Manage i found you can override the PS3s Debug Settings from here. Then from here you can turn off HDCP and force your PS3 to shut it off. Has this been found before? Becuase I thought it was not possibe on CEX2DEX systems!

How-To:
1.) Right on your target in ProDG.
2.) Click on "Properties..." all the way at the bottom.
3.) On the left panel, Click "XMB Settings"
4.) On the top left/center, Check the box that says "Override XMB Settings(applied after reset)"
5.) Find HDCP and turn it off
6.) Reset target and applie

I seen this before but what does it actually do by turning it off?

I've seen a post about this on another forum awhile back and long story short it won't work on converted systems, only on authentic debug consoles. Apparently it's hardwired into retail consoles.(Didn't know that was possible)
Feel free to test it tho as you are using a different method then the other guy who tried this.

If it is 'really' off you can use HDMI capture cards, and non-HDCP compliant TVs
