Wait you lost your install package files, and cant run multiman or any other homebrew? Sounds to me like you updated using a fake PUP or you installed the firmware whilst you had a disk in the drive.

Future reference never update any cfw with a disk in the drive and always check the md5 that comes with the firmware.

So what shall i do?

To be honest i didnt use any drives i just pressed check update from the internet

I meant the disk drive did you have a disk in the drive when you was updating? Because what happens when a disk in the drive when installing cfw is the ps3 updates the pup file off the disk instead of the usb

Heres what happened,my ps3 was just 4.00 and i wanted to use the internet and new features so i check the via storage and updated it to 4.55,my multiman still works and i got new features,but the next day i check the via storage again then i updated it and became 4.66.05 now my multiman isnt compatible since its 4.55,but theres a setting of multiman says update then i press update then it says the latest version has already been installed.

i think you are confusing multiman versions with firmware versions.
