If you're wondering if you can flash the system what you'd need is finding the model on rear of ps3, you can then compare to see if it downgradable via e3 here You must login or register to view this content.

m ps3 is on 4.78 right now i want and did a check to see if i can jailbreak ps3 ...the lates version came up 4.10

You mean with minverschk? If it's telling you 4.10, you can't do that one..

You need it to be able to downgrade to 3.55

You can't Jailbreak your system then since it'll need to either be on 3.55 or below (Less Than Or Equal To = 3.55). Sorry, but the system can't be Jailbroken...
