Post: I need help. URGENT. PS3 Rex 4.70.1 Rebug PS3 stuck in recovery.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently updated my PS3 today to Rebug REX 4.70.1, all was fine up until I used the root key option in toolbox to go to DEX, i never meant it but by accident clicked the full cycle option (on/off) before changing the lvl2 and now my PS3 is stuck in recovery. It won't let me update to anything. 3.55 OFW, 3.55 999 Downgrader, 4.70.1 Rex - Nothing.
Gives me error code 8002F2B5 and tells me data is corrupted. But says at the start any firmware over 2.70 - any help would be appreciated.

Try REX and DREX versions of your current CFW.

Try installing your current firmware d-rex version. If it still does not work, then you may have to use an e3 flasher to fix it.

Non-sense, you'd just format the HDD. Only time you really need an E3 is if you are bricked or turn on the system.

formatting the hdd, isn't going to stop the recovery loop. But ok.

In most cases, the updating issue is a software issue. Meaning a format and correctly installing things would work. Now if you really couldn't do anything then it would be a hardware issue, meaning a reflash. But that's very rare.

I've tried most things. Its saying either corrupted or no applicable data was found. I'll try d-rex and if not do you guys think its done its time😞?
