Can i downgrade to 4.70 without trouble and where can i find the 4.70 update?

Think they patched the method with the 4.70+ updates Upside Down Stare think the only way to get CID's now is with an E3 Flasher...

You are going to have to use a e3 flasher. the method of sniffing it was patched in the 4.70+ updates. and there is no way to downgrade OFW except with a e3 flasher.

i would also suggest using a E3 flasher, but you need buy one for about 30-80$, the process is fairly simple all you will need to do is get the BKPps3 file and thats it, but it also depends on what kind of ps3 it is, is downgradable ?

There's a few resigning tools out there aside from bruteforce that shows the IDPS & PSID from the params.sfo files in saved data

its not the actual CID it shows you, i know what you are talking

You can use e3 flasher to pull a backup off any console with a NOR chip (yes even some super slims). Drop that backup file into get*********.exe and it will give you your new CID(IDPS)
