You must know how to get rap file and install them(simple google search)

What you need:

Rebug PS3
PS3 FTP(Webman, Rebug, Multiman etc.)
PC FTP (Filezilla etc.)
★Rebug Toolbox installed
★Darkstore
Common knowledge on this

1
On Computer:
1. Download ★Darkstore, should contain a .pkg file and a text file

2. Transfer ★Darkstore to ps3(via USB or FTP your choice)

2
On PS3:

1. Install ★Darkstore pkg (You should know how to)

2. Start up an FTP & return to your PC

3
On Computer:

1.Start up your FTP

2.Connect to your PS3

3.Go to /dev_rebug/vsh/resource/explore/xmb

4.You should see a bunch of .xml files

5.You can choose any category youd want it to show up. I choose tv(category_tv.xml) since it had the least apps and easiest to get to

6.Copy the choosen .xml file to your computer and open it with a notepad

7.Should something like this
You must login or register to view this content.

8.Add the text in the text file right after(In my occasion) "src="xil://localhost/list?t=tv"
/>
"

9.Should look a little something like this right after
You must login or register to view this content.

10. Save it, and Transfer back to your PS3 in /dev_rebug/vsh/resource/explore/xmb

11.Make sure its a succesful transfer

4
On PS3:

1.Restart your PS3

2. Go over to your chosen category and Darkstore should be there and usable

So is there a way to choose where the games install? I have a external harddrive but I have no clue where it'll install once it starts.

Huge thanks for this. I have been pulling my hair out for a week now trying to figure a way around HAN injecting. (Freezes / Never works)

Just for anyone lazy like myself, the line of code that's needed is
<Query
class="type:x-xmb/folder-pixmap"
key="xmb_manager_plus"
src="xmb://localhost/dev_hdd0/game/DARKSTORE/USRDIR/pett_xmb.xml#pett_xmb_main"
/>

Also worth mentioning, the end bracket for the last line prior to adding this is off set for whatever reason... Being a neat freak I moved it to align with the rest of them and then decided to hell with it and moved it back. Works just fine...

Thanks again!

I had no issue.... Download the .xml via ftp, leave the ftp up and running (should only need to be running for a few minutes.) Edit the .xml and add the lines of code, save the .xml (overwrite the .xml you downloaded.) and then find it in ftp. Mine went directly to my user. C:\Users\** Right Click > Upload and then a window should pop up asking if you want to overwrite the original. . . Select Overwrite. Shouldn't be having any other issue...

Hmm.... How did you get it to transfer?

Error code 451 refers to not having sufficient rights. Meaning you may be able to read from but not write to. Ensure that you have full access. Alternatively it could mean that you hard drive is completely full. But that doesn't seem likely considering the .xml is but a mere 1300 Bytes.

As for it not showing up, either it wasn't transferred properly or perhaps you put the code in at the wrong spot. . .

Also, did you install the .pkg prior to overwriting the .xml ? It should appear at the bottom of the list in the TV cat.

Ensure that your code is like this. (Making sure that it is within the Items brackets.)

<Items>
<Query
class="type:x-xmb/folder-pixmap"
key="seg_welcome"
attr="seg_welcome"
src="sel://localhost/welcome?type=tv"
/>
<Query
class="type:x-xmb/folder-pixmap"
key="seg_gameexit"
src="sel://localhost/ingame?path=category_tv.xml#seg_gameexit&type=tv"
/>
<Query
class="type:x-xmb/folder-pixmap"
key="gameDir"
src="xil://localhost/list?t=tv"
/>
<Query
class="type:x-xmb/folder-pixmap"
key="xmb_manager_plus"
src="xmb://localhost/dev_hdd0/game/DARKSTORE/USRDIR/pett_xmb.xml#pett_xmb_main"
/>
</Items>
